Why Generación Latina Inc.?

GLINC (Generación Latina Inc.) is a multi-cultural non-profit organization focused on youth empowerment founded by Gamma Nu's very own founding sisters Melissa Gutierrez (SP03, #2) and Renelyn Monteloyola-Thomas (SP03, #3), along with others. GLINC's mission is to create "a generation of youth that will inspire change in our community."

What's Gamma Nu's Role?

Because of the obvious ties between Gamma Nu and GLINC, this organization is officially the chapter philanthropy. Gamma Nu hosts fundraising events, such as our famous Pie an LTA, in order to provide two $150 scholarships for GLINC students. In addition, Gamma Nu hosts a GLINC Conference comprised of workshops on professionalism, interviewing and college preparation every fall.
